Houston Dynamo Vs. Mazatlán FC

MATCH RECAP:

Mazatlán FC defeated Houston Dynamo 2-0 Friday night at Shell Energy Stadium. Facundo Almada opened the scoring in the 25th minute with a header off a Nicolás Benedetti corner.

In the 57th, Fábio Gomes added a second, finishing a perfectly placed pass from Benedetti.

Despite some second-half changes, Houston struggled to create clear chances and couldn’t break down Mazatlán’s defense.
